Pivotal moments in pre-history.

“I`ve been thinking. We have invented fire, cooking, woven fabrics, needles and scissors, but our poor menfolk are still running down wild animals and killing them with their bare hands. What say we put our heads together and come up with some simple tools that will make it possible for them to kill from a distance.”

Brother, if that's not passing the buck (yes, pun intended) I don't know what is!

Actually, another way you could take it is that women, who are obviously the clever creative members of the tribe, thought to give some simple, easily understood tools to the men to help them in the hunt. So far, so good. If the guys messed it up and got carried away that`s too bad.
One can not see the final result of any innovation.Like automobiles and global warming. Who knew?
